The mission of Cathcart Trinity Church is reflected
in our church mission statement; “Following Jesus
Christ - Glorifying God - Serving others”.
We seek to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in a
way which is both inspiring and challenging, inviting all
to open up their lives to the claims of Jesus Christ, be
it to follow Him for the first time or in deepening their
relationship with Him. We are a congregation which is friendly
and welcoming and which caters for individuals from all groupings
and backgrounds. This is reflected in the variety of worship
styles which we offer, our pastoral care and our commitment
to children and youth ministry.
Our life and worship together is grounded
in these core values:
We are a Christ-centred church: We seek to focus on Jesus
Christ who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Our desire
is to lead people to Jesus Christ so that through Him they
may experience God’s saving
love and be empowered for a lifelong journey of faith.
We
are Biblically based church: We believe the Bible is God’s
Word to us, the only unfailing guide for faith and life.
As we study and teach the Old and New Testaments, in a
variety of ways, we are drawn to the living centre of our
faith, Jesus Christ the Lord, our friend and Saviour.
We
want to be a caring community: We want to be a place
of spiritual nourishment and encouragement so that all ages
experience God’s welcome. We want
to extend our circle to include newcomers and help them find
a place to belong at Cathcart Trinity Church. We encourage
small study groups and ministry teams that produce lifelong
friendships.
Our vision is to provide a church fellowship where everyone
is a friend and no-one is a stranger. A place that all can
call “home”. For more information please contact office@cathcarttrinity.org.uk or
