Cathcart Trinity is a growing congregation. Our congregation is made up of a whole range of people; young and old, men and women, those whose faith is strong and constant and those who have many questions and doubts. Some of our members are very prominent and actively involved in the daily life of the church; others quietly work away in the background. We come from various family situations and career backgrounds.

What we are most is a family; a family of people whose common bond is our faith in Jesus Christ.

We would like to introduce you to some of the people you may meet if you visit us and tell you a little bit about what they do. Click on a picture for more information and feel free to introduce yourself to them if you do visit. They will be very pleased to meet you.

All are welcome here; all are equally important and infinitely precious to our God. Why not read some of our stories and come visit us?

In her free time, Maria enjoys reading & walking.

Ian Miller is the Clerk to the Congregational Board. He is married to Una and they have two children, Alison and David. Ian and Una also have two grandchildren who are the light of their grandfather's eye!

She led a gospel choir of 25 for 5 years from 1976 - 1981 in Pollokshields and more recently has lead the 'God With us Choir' of 50+. She is married to John, a Church of Scotland minister, and has two grown up children, Aaron and Joy.

As Church Officer, Stuart is a very familiar face to almost everyone who visits Cathcart Trinity. Stuart is married to Jan and they have a grown up daughter, Nicole.

When Stuart is not busy at one of his many and varied jobs within the church, he likes nothing better than to relax at home with the History Channel or a video and copious supply of Irn Bru, chocolate and bread and butter!

Our Depute Church Officer, Sheila Shaw is also a familiar face to people in and around Cathcart Trinity.

She is married to Bob and has rwo children, Fiona and Matthew (along with a whole variety of pets). Sheila absolutely loves her job and reckons it is the best one she has ever had!
