Welcome to our website. We hope that through the information on this site we will be able to convey the enthusiasm and warmth of our congregation and that it may encourage you to come along and visit us in person.
Cathcart Trinity is a vibrant forward looking Church with bible based worship at the heart of all that we do. We have developed a range of worship styles to reflect the diversity of our congregation and we hope that we can suit most people's worship preferences. Whether you come as a family or as an individual we can assure you of a friendly welcome and to those who have no previous experience of church we would extend a warm invitation.
Our aim is to be an open and welcoming church reaching out to serve the community of Cathcart. Our halls and facilities are for the use of the wider community as well as our church family and we have a range of activities which are open to all. We work in partnership with other churches in the area particularly in the field of youth work where we jointly support Radiate (the Cathcart Youth Ministry Partnership).
As a congregation we're committed to caring for one another and those we meet in our church premises and in the community. Our motivation is our faith. Jesus Christ has taught us to love one another. We look forward to welcoming you in person soon.

REV ALASDAIR MACMILLAN
I was born and raised in Edinburgh and studied Law at the University of Aberdeen, before hearing God's call to "Feed [his] sheep" (Nurture God's people). I attended the Cornhill Scotland course in Glasgow (doing a placement at Sandyford) and worked as a Parish Assistant at my home congregation, New Restalrig. I obtained my Bachelor of Divinity from the University of Edinburgh and completed my probationary placement at Granton Parish Church (Edinburgh) at the end of November 2014.
I am passionate about helping people discover, and then grow, their faith in God and love to see people living out their relationships with Jesus in their day to day lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. With friends around the world, I have a heart for the global church and also for the local church's place in the world-wide plans of God.
I am very excited to be here at Cathcart Trinity and to be finding out what God has in store for us. I look forward to getting to know the community here.
REV WILMA PEARSON (ASSOCIATE MINISTER)
I’ve been at Cathcart Trinity since 2004 and am very enthusiastic about what God is doing in the congregation.
It’s great to be part of a congregation where we explore different styles of worship and people can find a service that suits them. The Church family is varied in ages and interests and it’s good to be part of a team in which people can develop and use their gifts and talents.
God has challenged me to see how we can serve the community and it’s a privilege to be involved in worship services in local nursing homes, a daycare centre and in our local primary and secondary schools. As part of the wider Christian community in the area it is exciting to share in work with the United Free and Baptist congregations and to be in regular contact with other denominations too.
I believe that the good news of Jesus can and does transform lives and brings hope, comfort, challenge and peace. I pray that because of my faith, and God at work in and through me, others may discover this in their own lives.
