Traidcraft

This coffee and shop time gives the opportunity to browse and buy a wide range of Traidcraft fairly-traded goods over tea, coffee and toast.

It is open to all and meets in the Buchanan Hall from 10.00 am to 12.30pm on Wednesday mornings between 5 September and 12 December 2007 and from 9 January to 25 June 2008.

46th GUIDE COMPANY

The Guides meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.15 - 9.00 pm in the Large Hall. All new Guides from Brownies will be made welcome. Activities include games, drama, aerobics, crafts, ‘go for it’ challenges and occasional outings.

The session runs from 5 September to 19 December 2007 and from 9 January to 18 June 2008.

SOUTH DIVISION RANGER GUIDE UNIT

The Ranger Guides meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 pm in the Youth Room. The session runs from 22 August to 18 June, breaking for the school holidays.

This senior section of the Guide Association is for girls aged 14 to 26 years. The Unit’s activities are chosen by the girls themselves to fit in with the Senior Section “Look Wider” programme and to challenge themselves.

CONGREGATIONAL BOARD

The Congregational Board meet to discuss the upkeep and running of the church. They meet on the third Wednesday of each month, between 7.30 and 9pm.

WEDNESDAY BADMINTON CLUB

The club meets in the Kent Hall on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to 10.00 pm.

The session runs from 5 September to 12 December 2007 and from 9 January to 25 June 2008 (but not 19 March). We enjoy exercise, a chat and a cup of tea or coffee. New members will be very welcome.

PRAISE BAND

The Praise Band lead the praise and worship at the Contemporary Worship service on a Sunday morning. They meet every Wednesday night between 7.15 and 9pm to practice and learn new songs. Both singers and musicians are welcome.
